ITBG - Creating faith based Jewelry
ITBG was born from a shared vision between us, Luke and Carrie - a South African and Chinese team united by faith, creativity, and a desire to honour God in everything we do. What began as a dream to blend faith with craftsmanship has become a family business dedicated to creating meaningful jewelry that reflects both beauty and belief.
Our story is one of grace. The brand itself grew out of God reaching into our difficulties, lifting us from the muddy clay, and restoring us to wholeness in Him. That redemption is at the heart of ITBG: a testimony that no matter where you are, God can make all things new.
Luke created his first bracelet for himself - what is now The Genesis Band from our In the Beginning God series. He found it became more than just a bracelet; it was a reminder to pause, to seek God’s wisdom in moments of difficult decisions, potential weakness, or when guiding others in their own journeys. The experience inspired him to share this simple yet powerful tool of reflection, hoping it could encourage others to put God first in their own lives.
Luke grew up in the church, while Carrie came to faith through an Alpha course where she chose to put Christ first. Together, our journeys remind us that God meets us uniquely, yet always with love and purpose. We believe He has entrusted us with gifts to be used for His Kingdom, which is why we joyfully give a portion of our profits back into ministries in both New Zealand and China.
One truth shapes everything we do: “In the beginning, God” (Genesis 1:1). This serves as our guiding reminder - to put God first in every thought, decision, and action. Our jewelry carries that same purpose: to be a visual cue of faith, strength, and devotion, even in moments when we may forget.
